Betty Nippels DiGiacinto

Betty Nippels DiGiacinto, 91 of Whitehall (Stiles) passed away peacefully at her daughters’ home on September 15, 2025.

Born in Walnutport, PA., she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Ida (Beers)Gower.

She was the wife of the late Frederick Nippels and later the wife of the late Nicola DiGiacinto.

Betty was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Church in Whitehall. She enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time at The Northampton Senior Center.

She is survived by her son Daniel Gower and Judith, daughter Diane L. Yurasits and Louis, son Joseph F. Gower and Donna and son Frederick J. Gower and Heather; 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Kathleen Richards.

There will be a visitation on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 12:30-1:30 P.M. at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 2:00 pm at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 3024 S Ruch St, Whitehall Township, PA 18052. Interment to follow at the church cemetery.
