Carl R. Iseman, Jr, a lifelong resident of Rockland County, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Pearl River, NY, he later made his home in Nanuet, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and deep family bonds.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Carl was happiest when surrounded by those he loved most. His family was the center of his world, and his quiet strength, sense of humor, and kind heart will be remembered by all who knew him.
An avid fly fisherman, he found great joy in the solitude of the Catskill mountain streams, where he spent countless hours teaching and casting his line and keeping watch over his “fishes.” He was also a passionate outdoorsman and hunter who appreciated the peace of nature and the beauty of the changing seasons.
Carl was a proud Army veteran and a lifelong car enthusiast who could often be found under the hood, sharing stories and swapping parts with friends.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his wife Mary, his children Christopher Iseman, Richard Iseman (Debbie), and Kimberly Iseman-Starks (John), 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and the many relatives and friends whose lives he touched.
Services will be held at Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home, 34 N. Summit St. Pearl River, NY, with visitation on October 28th, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 29th, 10:00 am at the Good Shepard Lutheran Church, 112 N. Main St. Pearl River, NY. Interment to follow at the Frederick Loescher Veterans Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY.

His legacy of love, laughter, and gentle wisdom will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
