Carson City 4-H PJ Drive for Kids in Foster Care Celebrates 8th Year; donate today through Dec. 28

Please join us in supporting kids in foster care in Carson City! Since 2018, the Carson City 4-H PJ Drive has been collecting and donating pajamas to the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Kids’ Closet.

New pajamas of all styles and sizes are accepted. There is a special need for adult sizes for teens. Pajamas go directly to local kids.

This year we will be collecting pajamas until Sunday, December 28th. We currently have collection bins at the following locations in Carson City:

• Charles Kitchen Realty
• The Mix Nutrition
• Tractor Supply Company
• Just Brew It
• Scoup’s
• Grocery Outlet
• Carson City Library
• Ogres-Holm Pottery

The Drive began as a way to give our little Cloverbuds a chance to give back to their community in a way that would be meaningful to them, through giving a cozy pair of pajamas to another child. It has grown a lot, thanks to our fantastic partners and community!

• 2022: 374 pairs
• 2023: 250 pairs
• 2024: 183 pairs
• 2025: ??????

Special recognition goes to Alisa Andrews at Charles Kitchen Realty for becoming our first community supporter in 2020 and bringing in a significant number of the PJs collected every year since. Since then, we continue to add additional collection locations every year. In 2023, the Carson City 4-H Leader Council began donating duffle bags to organize and deliver the PJs.
