Chris would want you all to know she was actually just 29 at the time of her death, and will be 29 forevermore. She’d often comment on how amazing it was she had kids in their 40s, as she was only 29. Chris loved a party, loved people and loved to entertain. She made friends wherever she went and if you met her and spent any amount of time with her, she considered you a friend. Chris had a legendary sense of humor and loved jokes and comedy, especially I Love Lucy. Chris performed for many years with the Off-Monroe Players and had very fond memories of her time with them both onstage and off. She was a music lover and loved jazz and rock and roll; her favorite artists were the Beatles and anything released by Motown Records in the 1960s, especially Tammi Terrell. She loved books, word puzzles, art, ballet, and beautiful things, cooking, decorating, children and photos of the sky in Eugene, OR. She enjoyed a good wine and delighted in following the British Royal family and collecting office supplies made for left-handed people. Chris was a long-time employee at Strong Museum where she met many of her lifelong friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 27 at 2pm at 1600 East Avenue. Please RSVP here. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Christine’s name to Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York.
