Howard C. Lewis, 84, of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on October 4, 2025. He was born on September 7, 1941, in Elkhart, Indiana.

Howard served in the United States Marine Corps from 1959 to 1965 and later worked as an auto mechanic. He had a lifelong love of cars, hot rods, and car shows, and could always be found talking shop or tinkering with something under the hood. He had a soft spot for his granddaughters, often taking them for rides in his hot rod truck. He also had a knack for making friends with any stray cat that came across his path.

He is survived by his son Jude (Michelle) Lewis, daughter Mika Lewis, stepdaughter Erin (Ryan) Lambert, and grandchildren Mason, Ryanne, and Ruby. The family would like to extend a special thanks to his Hill’s Tavern family for their friendship and support.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
