Laurance Davis

Laurance G. Davis, age 87 of Sharon, WI passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025 at Beloit Hospital in Beloit, WI. He was born on April 27, 1938 at his home in Boone County, IL the son of Harold and Violet (Goodall) Davis.

Laurance was united in marriage on April 15, 1961 to Genevieve Lynn and they have spent the past 64 years happily together. Mr. Davis worked in the trucking industry and farming for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Genny Davis of Sharon, WI; his children, Jeff Davis of Delavan, WI, Gary (Ronda) Davis of Sharon, WI, Rodney (Theresa) Davis of Sharon, WI; his grandchildren, Steven (Leah) Davis, Brandon (Megan) Davis, Nicole (Joe) Bishoff, Zach (Alex) Quick, Riley (Nick) Aufmuth, Bridget Davis, and Wade Davis; his twelve great-grandchildren; his sister, Laurene (Jerry) Taylor of Mukwonago, WI; and his many nieces and nephews.

Laurance was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Violet Davis; and his son, Steven Davis.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Toynton Funeral Home, 328 Kenosha Street, Walworth, WI. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Sharon, WI.

Friends may visit from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at the Toynton Funeral Home in Walworth, WI.
