Loren Anderson

Loren Lester Anderson, born January 11, 1934 in Brady, NE passed from this life to his Father in heaven, July 22, 2025.

He was proceeded in death by his wife of 60 years Donna (Bailey) Anderson; parents, Lee and Minnie (Callahan) Anderson, brothers, Morris, Ivan, Gaylin, sisters, Eunice and Eva Lee.

His sisters, Roxine Bullard, Norma Stevenson, and Verla Krula remain as well as his three sons, Kevin and wife Joanne, Ken and wife Monica, and Mark and wife Anne. His family including many grandchildren and great-grandchildren will miss him dearly. Loren spent his childhood in and around Brady and Curtis, NE on the the family farms. He married Donna in Chillicothe, MO while in the army where he served at both Fort Smith, AR and San Antonio, TX. He worked as a welder and carpenter in Denver, CO before returning to the farm to both farm and ranch. He loved being a greeter at Walmart in his earlier retirement years and was then known as “the sticker man” by many a child who passed by his door there. You were never around Loren long before you’d hear him telling stories, jokes, singing and talking about his love for God. He was also a wonderful singer and blessed many with his hymns and storytelling.

Funeral Services will be held, 10:00 am, Monday, July 28, 2025, at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Peckham Cemetery.
