Mary Tomasic

Mary A. Tomasic, 96, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hospice Unit, Allentown. Born in Ormrod, she was the daughter of the late Wasyl and Rose (Woodich) Lalik.

She was the wife of the late Joseph V. Tomasic, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage before he passed in 2010.

She was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church and the former St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in N. Catasauqua.

Mary retired from Western Electric after working 35 years in the clean rooms. She was a member of Whitehall Seniors and Coplay Seniors. She enjoyed bingo and traveling with her family. She will be remembered for her sassy personality and will deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son Joseph husband of Joann Tomasic, daughter Roseann wife of Michael Mohn, daughter in law Diane Tomasic; 7 grandchildren Thomas, Joseph, Kelly, Jennine, Mark, Jacqueline and Michael; 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Thomas in 2018.

There will be a visitation from 5-7pm on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, PA. and from 10-11am Saturday, October 4, 2025, at St. John Fisher Church, 1229 Third Street N. Catasauqua,18032. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 11am in the church. Interment to follow at St. Andrew’s Cemetery.
