Rebecca “Becky” Corn Brian, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at UNC Health Care-Pardee in Hendersonville, North Carolina. She was 79 years old. A resident of Zirconia, North Carolina, she was born on December 8, 1945, in the heart of Henderson County, North Carolina, Becky lived a life full of warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith.

A graduate of East Hendersonville High School, Becky was a proud and devoted member of Double Spring Baptist Church in Zirconia, where her spirit enriched the lives of many. Her deep sense of community and love for fellowship found expression in her frequent visits with friends at Denny’s and Burger King, where laughter and stories were always shared.

Throughout her career, Becky demonstrated remarkable dedication and resilience, culminating in her retirement from General Electric (GE) following many years of service. Her work ethic and commitment were a source of inspiration to all who knew her.

Becky was preceded in death by her loving parents, Allen and Wessie Levi Corn; and her cherished husband, Capt. Roy Horace Brian, Sr., who passed away on December 24, 2022; and her aunt, Fannie Morgan. Despite these profound losses, her strength and grace continued to shine through, embodying the virtues of love and perseverance.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Beth Morgan; and stepson, Roy Brian, Jr., who carry forward her legacy of compassion and kindness. Her memory will live on through her beloved granddaughter, Kali Jackson, who brought immense joy to Becky’s life. She also leaves behind numerous cousins and friends, including special friends Mike and Freida Hudson, Wayne Beddingfield, Rosa Colecio, and Jahaziel Sanchez, who were like family to her.

A graveside service to celebrate Becky’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Pace Cemetery, with Rev. Michael Lewis officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a truly remarkable woman whose generous spirit touched everyone she met.
