Richard Payne

Richard “Dick” C. Payne, 89, of Northbrook. Army Veteran. Born May 16, 1936, in Chicago, passed away May 30, 2025.  Beloved husband of the late Barbara; proud father to Carol Cramer, Steve Payne, and David Payne; Cherished papa and great-papa.

Our father lived his life with a servant’s heart. A heart of humility, love, and compassion. He served others believing deeply “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” Ephesians 4:2

He loved to make conversation, offer advice, and place a smile on others. He loved having fun, but most of all, he loved our mom/his wife with all his heart and soul.

Memorial visitation Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 12-4 PM with a memorial service at 2:30 pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 1104 Waukegan Road, Glenview
