Richard “Ricky” Bruce

Richard “Ricky” Ray Bruce, 46, of Harrisville, WV, formerly of Ironton, OH, unexpectedly departed this life Monday, September 29, 2025 at his residence.

He was born on January 10, 1979, in Columbus, OH, a son of the late Arnold Ray and Marta Terese (Hall) Bruce.

Ricky was a simple man. He enjoyed being outdoors, and playing video games.

He is survived by his loving children, Tristin Long and Sierra Long, both of Ironton, OH, and Hunter Ray Bruce; brothers, Kenneth Keeton and Michael Bruce of Ironton, OH; great aunt, Joyce Frizzel; special aunt Jennifer Fulford; special cousins/sisters Heather Kirk and Crystal Fulford; special friends, Darrell “Joker” Shirley of Harrisville, WV and David Jackson of Ironton, OH.

In addition to Ricky’s parents he was preceded in death by James “Jimbo” Kirk.

In accordance with Ricky’s wishes, he will be cremated. A memorial service will take place in Ironton, OH at a later date at the convenience of the family. Raiguel Funeral Home in Harrisville, WV is assisting the family with the arrangements.
