Warren – Robert Paul Kosmas, born November 30, 1942, died peacefully in his home on September 3, 2025. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Myrtle Kosmas (Arlington, VA), his brother Nick Kosmas (New Smyrna Beach, FL), and his sister Vicki Nelson (New Smyrna Beach, FL)

Paul adored his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his loving partner, Kendra Cetrone (Warren, OH), and seven children, Emilee Kosmas, Laney Kosmas and Bianca Cesta (Warren, OH), Michael Kosmas (Kiki) and David Kosmas (Donna) (New Smyrna Beach, FL), Paul Kosmas, Jr, (Lexington, VA), and Kristen Kosmas (Seattle, WA). Paul was blessed with eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Steve Kosmas (Angela) and James Kosmas, and a sister, Margot May (Tom).

After Paul’s father passed away, Paul began helping his mother operate a carry-out sandwich shop in Washington, DC. He furthered his career in the restaurant business in Washington, D.C, owning and operating a small sandwich shop in the mid-1960s.

Paul fell in love with Florida as a young man and decided to move from DC to New Smyrna Beach in the 1970’s. His mother, brothers, and sisters later joined him there. Paul was skilled in construction and loved marketing. He soon joined his brothers Steve and Nick in the Timeshare development business. Together, the company gradually grew into one of the largest and most successful privately owned timeshare companies in the United States, owning and managing properties in the Caribbean, as well as in Florida, Maryland, and Louisiana. Paul served as Vice President of Kosmas Group International until retiring in 2009.

Paul will be remembered for his infectious smile, his generosity, his strong work ethic, and for being a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He will be sorely missed by many who knew and loved Paul.

Kendra would like to thank her three daughters Emilee, Laney and Bianca for the impeccable care they provided for paul so he could rest peacefully in his home until his passing.

Family and friends may visit from 4-6:00PM on Monday September 22, 2025 at Lane Funeral Homes Roberts-Clark Chapel located at 180 Garfield Dr. NE in Warren. A memorial service for Paul will follow at 6:00PM.
