Rosa’s laughter was a melody that resonated through the hearts of her loved ones, creating an atmosphere of happiness and comfort. She was the cherished matriarch of a large and loving family: her four children, Maria, Donna, Pat, and Frankie; her ten adoring grandchildren, Toni-Marie, Nicole, Lenny, P.J., Breanna, Justin, Antonio, Christian, James, and Anthony; and her six doting great-grandchildren, Leo, Eliana, Aryella, Luca, Natalie, and Gianna. Each of them was a testament to Rosa’s boundless love and nurturing spirit. Her late husband, Antonio, whom she missed dearly, surely welcomed her with open arms.
Rosa’s life was marked by her steadfast dedication to her work at Clove Lakes Nursing Home, where she devoted 26 years of compassionate service. A woman of devout Christian faith, Rosa’s beliefs guided her actions and provided a source of strength and inspiration for her family and friends. She lived a life of service, embodying the Christian virtues of kindness, charity, and love in every interaction.
An avid gardener, Rosa found solace and joy in the simple act of nurturing her plants, particularly her prized tomato vines. The fruits of her labor were not just a source of sustenance but also a symbol of her dedication to fostering growth and life. Her daily walks around the neighborhood were an exercise in community and friendship. Rosa never missed an opportunity to stop and chat with her neighbors, always leaving them with a smile.

Her legacy is a tapestry woven with the threads of her remarkable qualities: loving, funny, and friendly. Rosa’s presence was a gift, one that will continue to be felt in the stories retold and the traditions she established.
Rosa Rocchio’s journey on earth may have concluded, but her spirit endures in the lives she touched and the love she spread.
