Thomas Baur

Thomas J Baur, age 80, of Rhinelander, formerly of Green Bay, died on September 8, 2025, in Rhinelander. He was born on June 28, 1945, in Clintonville, Wisconsin the son of Leslie and Betty (Olson) Baur. He attended schools in Clintonville graduating from the Clintonville High School. After his schooling he was employed as a truck driver while he lived in Townsend and Green Bay. He moved to Rhinelander in May of 2025 to be near his son. 

Earlier in life Tom enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and he was an avid Packer fan. He got to enjoy the Packer’s win this past Sunday. 

Tom is survived by his son Robert (Michelle) Baur, his grandchildren Blake and Paige, his great grandchildren Preslee and Walker, his sisters Joanne Watt and Jodi (Lonnie) Baur, his brothers Gary Baur and Michael (Sandy) Baur. Nieces, Nephews, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his special friend Ellen Moseng.
