Brooklyn – William Lee, 67, of Brooklyn, died September 25, 2025. Born in Norwalk, Connecticut, he was the son of the late John R and Maria (Kovacs) Lee.
Bill worked for Staples as a Manager for many years. Prior to Staples, he worked as a shipping manager for Applied Photonic Devices, and was a manager at the Sawmill on Brickyard Road in Brooklyn until it closed.
He had a silly and joyous sense of humor, enjoyed fishing, kayaking, spending time in nature, had a love of birds and other wildlife, and reading, especially Tolkien and Dean Koontz. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle for many years.
William is survived by sister, Margaret Lee, his nephew Josiah Sansone and his family of West Boylston, MA, his niece Sage Sansone and her partner Andrew of Asheville, NC; his cousin Kim Kovarovics and her family of Mansfield, CT; his dear friends Jon and Roseanne Kennan and family of Hampton, CT, and Tim Lefevre and family of Sterling, CT
William is predeceased by his mother, father, and his brother Rick (John Richard) Lee, as well as many aunts and uncles; he was close to his uncle, Eugene Kovacs of Storrs, while growing up.
