Agostino Colotti

Agostino Colotti, of Rye Brook, New York, passed away following a six year long battle with cancer on November 3rd, 2025, at the age of 62, with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 18th, 1963, in the Morris Park section of the Bronx, to the late Filomena (Fredella) and Rocco Colotti.

For nearly 20 years, Agostino served as the Chief Financial Officer for Avrett Free Ginsberg advertising firm in New York where his leadership, mentorship, and generosity of spirit left a lasting impact on friends and colleagues alike.

He was a devoted husband to Maria, and a loving father to three sons, Austin, Michael, and Matthew. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing softball with his friends and managing their team “Sam’s”. He was also a die-hard Black Sabbath and Billy Joel fan, and an avid home cook – famous for his homemade tomato sauce. He truly cherished spending quality time with family and friends.

Agostino is predeceased by his parents, Rocco and Filomena Colotti. He is survived by his wife Maria and their beloved sons, Austin, Michael, and Matthew Colotti of Rye Brook, and his sister Maria Pina and her husband Joseph, their children Francesca and Joseph Bellizzi of Scarsdale, and his brothers-in-law Franco and his wife JP Fredella of White Plains, Blaise and his wife Kathi Fredella of New Rochelle, and Anthony Fredella and his wife Judge Jo Ann Friia of White Plains. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews Jeanie (Matthew) Wolpert and their child Gabriel of Stamford, Connecticut, and Diana (Chris) Schwartz and their children, Grace and Blake of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Ross (Emily) Fredella and their child Ruby, of Brooklyn, and Andrew Fredella of Boca Raton, Florida. He also leaves behind many colleagues, friends and business associates. He will be sorely missed and forever remembered with love.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. in Church of St. Pius X, 91 Secor Road Scarsdale NY 10583

Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY
