Katie Giboney

Katie Jo Giboney, 39, of Jefferson City, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. She was born on July 15, 1986, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Ted Joe and Cheryl Ann (Brondel) Giboney.

Katie attended high school in Kansas City and always followed her own path. She had a deep love for animals, especially dogs. She always made sure she had one by her side. Those who knew Katie will remember her free spirit and her love for the simple things in life.

She is survived by her brother, Kyle Giboney; her aunts, Brenda Giboney, Barbara Oetting, Virginia Lahmeyer, Sharon Giboney, Cindy Brondel, Stacy Brondel, and Renee Brondel; her uncles, Mike Giboney and Bill Oetting; niece, Alaeya Giboney and many cousins.

Katie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sara Giboney.
