Linda McKenzie

Linda Jean McKenzie, 73, of Sturgeon, Missouri, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025. She was born on January 29, 1952, and graduated from Southern Boone County High School in Ashland, Missouri, with the Class of 1970.

Linda worked as a dedicated factory worker for over twenty years, known for her strong work ethic and warm personality. Outside of work, she found joy in simple pleasures, crocheting, solving crossword puzzles, and playing bingo. She had a deep love for frogs, plants, and hummingbirds, and cherished every moment spent with her family. Linda also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Rosie, who held an important place in her heart.

She is survived by her husband, James McKenzie of Sturgeon, Missouri; her children, Robert (Jada) McKenzie, Owen McKenzie, Brandon (Ashley) McKenzie, and Tracy Sapp-Anderson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry her memory with love.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Rosemond Sapp, and her sister, Peggy Jane Rupard.
